Hi Babes! I hope everyone enjoyed their Holidays. I took a few weeks off of blogging to spend time with my family and friends and it was nice to take a break and live in the moment. I also started planning all of my content for the New Year and I can’t wait to share it all with you guys. I haven’t blogged in a few weeks and it feels SO good to have a new post up! Like I mentioned, I have some pretty exciting things planned for my blog in 2018 so stay tuned! As always, thank you so much for your continued love and support. XO
Everyday, I get SO many dms and messages from you guys asking which makeup products are my favorite and what I like to use so I thought I would just do a post and share my absolute favorite beauty products all in one place! Today’s post I’m sharing my HOLY GRAIL beauty products with y’all. All of these items can be found at Nordstrom. You guys already know Nordstrom is one of my favorite stores to shop, not only for clothes, but also for makeup and beauty products. It really is my one-stop-shop for everything I love LOL. I’ve sworn by most of these products for YEARS and typically use them everyday. I’m linking them all below for you guys! XO
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation– If you’ve been following me for a while you have heard me talk about this foundation. This stuff is AMAZING and stays all day long! The coverage is better than anything else I’ve found and it doesn’t look cakey. It’s the same foundation I used in my everyday makeup tutorial.
Smashbox Photo-Ready Color Correcting Primer – This primer is SOOOO good. I used to not be a huge fan of primers because I wasn’t sure if they actually did anything and thought they were a waste of money…until I found this one. I have hyper-pigmentation and some sun spots on my cheeks and this stuff blurs them out before I even put on foundation.
Anastasia Brow Wiz – This is my all-time favorite brow pencil. The tip is super tiny so the strokes are really natural and don’t look harsh. I use the shade “Soft Brown”. I had my eyebrows micro-bladed last year but I feel like it’s faded a lot so I like to lightly fill in my brows where they’re sparse.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder– This setting powder is what I use to set under my eyes and wherever I’ve contoured with concealer. I have oily/combo skin so I have to use a setting powder over any cream products I use or it will start to move and crease throughout the day. You can see this in my Everyday Makeup Tutorial here. I LOVE how fine the powder is so it doesn’t settle into fine lines or sink into my pores.
Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in “KimKW” – This is the perfect shade of nude lipstick for me!! It doesn’t make you look dead or washed out and the formula gives off a gorgeous satin finish. I wouldn’t call it a matte lipstick but it definitely isn’t too creamy which means it lasts a few hours before I have to re-apply. I use a slightly darker shade of liner with it like Mac’s “Soar” or “Strip Down” to give my lips an ombre effect.
Philosophy Purity Facewash – I love makeup but I also love the feeling of fresh, clean skin. This facewash has been my go-to for several years. It gets off EVERY stitch of makeup. It doesn’t foam which means it’s not drying on your skin. I’m currently working on a updated skincare routine post for you guys where i’ll go more in-depth about my daily/nightly skincare routine.
YSL “The Shock” Mascara – This mascara is SO good. The formula makes your lashes look super long and it doesn’t get clumpy. I do have lash extensions but I like to just brush this lightly on the ends of my lashes for extra dramatic look.
Mac MSFN Powder in “Medium Deep” – I’ve used this to set my foundation for 3 years. The finish of this powder is GORGEOUS. It literally looks like your skin. I use a Sigma large powder brush and dust it all over my face after I put on my foundation and concealer.
Nars Blush in the shade “Orgasm” – This was the first blush I ever went through all of it and ran out that same day to get more because I literally couldn’t go a day without it. The peachy/pink shade is flattering on any skin tone and looks great with every shade of lip color (trust me, I’ve paired it with everything from a red lip to nude lips) If I could only own one blush, this would be it!
Mac Lip Liner – I’m a freak about lining my lips every single day. I just love how it emphasizes my lips. My all-time favorite lip liner is from Mac. I have several shades I love and I usually stick to berry or nude-ish shades because they look the most natural. My favorite shades are Soar, Stripdown, Whirl, and Plum.
The T3 Whirl Trio – This is my by-far my favorite curling wand. It is pricier than other wands I’ve used but it’s so worth the investment. It gets SO hot so I have to make sure I don’t use the highest setting. I love that it heats up so quickly and the waves last for daaaays. I typically curl my entire head every 3-4 days and just touch-up the front pieces in between. I love the 1 in straight barrel for everyday curls and the tapered barrel for a more “beachy” wave.
