Two blog posts in two days…who am I?! LOL but seriously, I told you guys I’m going to be focusing A LOT on blogging for the next week now that I have a week at home with no travel. I’m SO excited to share today’s post with you guys because I found a super easy way to improve my current skincare routine. You guys know I love trying out new products and I’m a bit of a skincare junky! However, I only share the products I’m actually loving with you guys! Recently, I’ve added 2 new products with Retinol into my skincare routine and I have been LOVING them. Retinol is basically used for preventing wrinkles and fine lines and keeping your skin plump and looking youthful.
I was actually first introduced to StriVectin products years ago. She swears by them! I didn’t feel like I needed to use anything with retinol at the time because I was only in my early twenties but now it’s definitely time! My friend Destiny has the most amazing skin and when we were in New York I asked her what her secret is, she said she’s been using Retinol for years! So I thought it was definitely time for me to start. I’m ALL about preventative measures to keep my skin looking youthful. My dermatologist always tells me it’s so much easier to prevent wrinkles and skin damage than to try to reverse it once it’s happened. These products are a little price-y but honestly when it comes to my skin, no price is too high. We only get one face in this life!
Daytime Retinol Product-
The first product I’ve been using everyday is this StriVectin Advanced Day Treatment Moisturizer with SPF 30. I apply it after I wash my face and apply my serums and before I apply my primer for my foundation. It keeps my skin moisturized all day!
Nighttime Retinol Product-
The second product I’m loving is this StriVectin Starlight Night Oil. I LOVE skin oils but I’m always nervous they will make me break out because I have super sensitive skin. This hasn’t made me break out at all and I LOVE how moisturized my skin feels after using it when I wake up. I’m linking both of these products (available at Ulta) below if you want to check them out!
Thank you to Ulta for sponsoring this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
