Hi Babes! As I mentioned in my previous blog post, the girls and I visited Chicago last weekend. While we were there, we attended the coolest event at the beautiful Shedd Aquarium hosted by Abercrombie Kids. We were able to have a private tour of the aquarium which was amazing! We had the best time and I wanted to share some of the photos from that day with you guys. No flash photography was allowed through most of the aquarium so I apologize about the quality of some of the photos!
I was so excited to find out that my friend Sarah and her two boys were going to the event as well. Sarah moved to Nashville so anytime we can hang out together we take advantage and we always have the best time. Our kids have so much fun playing together. Another mommy blogger friend of ours, Jenna, was also at the event with her adorable family (her daughter is also named Brynleigh just spelled differently, how cool is that?) We all had so much fun catching up and hanging out together. The staff at the Shedd Aquarium truly went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. All the children at the event were able to get up close and personal with some of their favorite animals.
The aquarium had so many beautiful fish and sharks. The girls had so much fun picking out their “favorite” fish and making fish faces with their friend Roman. 🙂
The sea lion was so funny! He was HUGE and Brielle definitely wasn’t too sure about him. She definitely kept her distance at first but then he kept sticking his tongue out and making the kids laugh and she warmed up to him.
I told you Brie warmed up to him, lol! Just dabbing with a sea lion…
Cutest Abercrombie kids!!
This was my favorite part of the tour! I have loved Beluga Whales since I was a little girl and we were actually able to touch one! The whale was so sweet and gentle and would even kiss your hand. SO cute!
As I mentioned before, this fun event was sponsored by Abercrombie Kids. I have been a huge fan of Abercrombie clothes since highschool and I actually used to work there in college! I love that they always have the best basics and classic, high-quality pieces. Their little girls’ line is SO cute and trendy. It’s honestly all items that I would wear myself but just sized down to the girls sizes. I chose this striped cold shoulder sweater for Brielle and this adorable gingham top for Brynleigh. Both of the girls are wearing these distressed denim jeggings. The jeggings are so soft and Brielle mentioned how comfortable they were. The best part is all of these pieces were SO affordable. I love finding high-quality play-clothes for the girls that will last a long time at a good price-point! We had the best time at the Shedd Aquarium and we can’t wait to go back again soon to visit! I’m linking all of my outfit details from Abercrombie and the girls’ outfit details from Abercrombie Kids below.
