It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged! We spent the last week in Utah visiting family. It was SO nice to just kick back and let work/social media take a little bit of a backseat for a few days. The girls had so much fun hanging out with their cousins and Darek’s parents. We even snuck in a quick trip to Park City during the Sundance Film Festival and did a little snowboarding! It was such a fun trip but I’m so excited to be back into the swing of things and I have SO much content planning for the blog in the next few months! I shot some fun Valentines Day looks with my photographer Shelly yesterday and I can’t wait for you guys to see!
Speaking of Valentines Day, I can’t believe it’s right around the corner! Seriously where does the time go because it feels like January just started? Darek and I usually keep things pretty casual for Valentine’s Day, our celebration usually consists of a quiet dinner Downtown and a movie. Fun Fact- Our Anniversary is actually the week before Valentine’s Day (We got married when I was only 19 and if I had it to do again I would have spread them out a little more, LOL! Live and learn!) so we always make a much bigger deal over that and by the time V-Day gets here the next week we don’t go overboard. This casual look I found at Express is inspired by just that! You can still add little Romantic touches to your outfit without wearing a full blown gown ;). This wrap sweater is perfect for layering and comes in 4 colors. I’m wearing a size small. Wearing a lace bralette or cami under a pretty sweater is an easy way to make things a little more sexy and fun. Add a pair of distressed black or light-wash denim and that’s one of my go-to date night outfits! I would definitely dress this look up with black heels for night. I’ve been wearing these distressed jeans SO much since I bought them, they are so flattering and comfy! They run tts, I’m wearing a size 2.
