Happy Sunday, Babes! Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite Fall beauty trends with you! I’m super excited for Fall because I feel like you can get away with a little bit more dramatic makeup than in the summer. I love to play around with new hair and makeup trends each season! Ulta is my favorite one-stop-shop for all of my beauty needs. I bought everything I needed for this look there!
If you’ve been following along with me for a while, you’ve probably noticed I’ve always been a huge fan of a messy, voluminous pony. I have extensions and A LOT of hair so sometimes I love to just throw it up and go. I love the look of an “un-done” up-do!
Messy, Voluminous Ponytail-
Step 1. For this pony I just teased sections of my hair and used this texturizing spray throughout.
Step 2. Then backcomb or tease the top of your hair with a fine tooth comb. I love this one!!
Step 3. Gather all the hair at the base of the neck and secure with a thick ponytail holder. These ponytail holders are amazing and don’t cause breakage.
Step 4. Pull on sections of the hair to make it look more voluminous! Don’t worry if some pieces are sticking out further than others, it’s supposed to be messy!! Spray with Redken Fashion Work hairspray!
One more trend I’m loving going into Fall is a burgundy smokey eye. It just screams Fall! This gorgeous Mac eyeshadow palette from Ulta has the perfect colors to create a gorgeous warm smokey eye! I was SO excited when I saw Ulta was carrying Mac products, two of my favorite companies are finally combined!! I added this liquid liner in black to the tops of my lids + 3 coats of my fave mascara to add a little more drama!
